Paul Smith and Design Museum director Deyan Sudjic just unveiled a five foot 'rabbit bin' whose ears light up whenever rubbish is deposited in it, as part of the Design Museum Super Contempary Exhibition in Covent Garden. When it comes to light up ears, I'm always happy to help out. In this case the ears are illuminated by an array of amber LEDs that create a simple 'ear' animation whenever an IR sensor senses activity in the bin.Sunday, May 31, 2009
